Anna Grace

"I’m from Monroe, Louisiana, but I graduated from the
University of Mississippi with my B.F.A. in Acting for the Stage & Screen. At the age of three, my feet hit the stage for the first time, and it’s felt like home ever since! I grew up dancing my whole life, but I discovered the world of musical theatre when I was 15 (A theatre near me was doing Hairspray—how could I not?). I remember the first musical I ever saw; everyone in the room was there for the same reason. There was a sense of genuine happiness and community throughout the entire theatre.

It didn’t take long to realize that the actors and the story they were telling were the source of it all. I love storytelling and connecting with people in a way that might hit home for them—the same way it did for me. When you love what you do, and you’re surrounded by people who love it just as much as you do, your heart grows three whole sizes. (I didn’t read that anywhere, I just feel it every time.) My heart grows so much when I perform that I feel like it’s overflowing into the entire room. There really is no place like home."
